QUESTION FOR GIRLS

there has been loads of messages about this subject in the past ( you may have to go back to ones from last year ), and it would seem to be quite common for anxiety to be linked with changes in hormone levels, period times or menopause are the most common. I've read loads about it in relation to the menopause and papers seem to suggest a direct link between the two. I'm now on HRT and have almost been panic free since I first starting taking it. See if you can find the previous messages, or just put panic / hormone into google and see what it comes up with. Good luck ! I found it a fascinating subject to research !!

Hi Jo, My hormones affect my anxiety levels too. I got off the pill and became more anxious, so i started taking it again. Adrenaline after all is a hormone, which gives us the physical symptoms of anxeity. Definitetly talk to your doctor!

Hi Jo, I have the same problem as you and would really recommend talking to your doctor about your blood sugar. I had really low blood sugar and it just makes your anxiety symptoms that much worse! Try eating small snacks every 2 hours instead of big meals and see if that helps the tremours. It has really made a big difference in my life. Best of luck to you!

Jo, Try using the Panic Diary or keep a journal. Once you have written down your anxiety and thoughts through out the month, take a copy to your doctor. This may better assess the situation and help pinpoint if this indeed is the case. Keep Strong, Josie ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.
