Ripper, I was on Zoloft for 6 years. It helped me for a while, but after so long I think my body got too used to it. One very important lesson I learned when coming off it was that you HAVE to wean off very, very slowly. No one should ever try to come off of this medicine all at once. Zoloft is a very expensive medication. I have no insurance so that's the main reason I wanted to stop taking it after i felt like it wasn't helping me enough anymore. Everyone is different. Zoloft might be the perfect thing for you as an individual. Good luck with it. I hope you do well. Sammi

Ripper1098, If you have any concerns with Zoloft please contact your doctor or pharmacist to see if this type of medication is right for you :). dcheryl83, thank you for sharing your experience on taking Zoloft in the past. This will indeed help many individuals with their questions and concerns. Melanie _______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

I've taken it before. When I first found I out about panic attacks. I thought I was just claustophobic and went to see a doctor. He told me abot panic attacks and prescribed Zoloft. Seemed to work great for me until I discovered I was allergic to it (hives). Had no other side affects or any other problems while I was using it.

I am thinking about going back on Zoloft. Anyone ever taken this, any thoughts? It helped me before, I just didn't stay on it long enough.
