when you are upset....

Hi Angel. I am the same way when I argue or fight with someone. Not only does my anxiety go through the roof, I also start acting really irrationally. I say really hurtful and stupid things which I regret the minute I can calm myself down enough to really think about it. I try really hard not to get into fights, but sometimes it's inevitable and it feels terrible when it happens. I really hope you are feeling better today!!

Angel, Arguing is not healthy for anyone's environment. Take the time to use relaxation techniques and step back from the situation to reassess. By keeping a diary or journal you can pinpoint areas that you would like to work on and how they came about. Take some you time and relieve the extra stress you are feeling. Hope this helps, Josie _______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

Hi Angel: Yes - I too try to avoid fights and keep the peace - because my anxiety skyrockets. I think spats increase anxiety for everyone - I think it would be "normal". However, I always feel that my anxiety is worse than normal - but maybe that is faulty thinking on my part. I think anger, stress, excitement, anything new or different or difficult will cause anxiety. Sorry you are in a bad mood, Raven

Hi. I'm not in a very good mood. I just got into an argument with someone that is close to me. I find that my anxiety is getting worse as a result of this. My breathing is getting heavy and im uneasy. I'm trying to take deep breaths. does anyone else find that their anxiety increases when they are aruging/fighting with others? Is this what 'normal' people experience too? I just need help, i'm not feeling too great right now.
