Jo, Have you talked to your pharmacist or doctor? They can advice regarding side effects and dosages. This may help you :) Keep Strong, Josie ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

Hey Jo! I feel like this all the time! I get really shaky and weak and I'm pretty sure it's from tensing my muscles all the time. I'm pretty sure that's why you are feeling shaky, too. Remind yourself throughout the day to relax your muscles, just for a few seconds. You'll notice how often you are tense without knowing you were. Every now and again, just remind yourself to drop your shoulders and let go. It helps. Stretching a few minutes every day helps also. I try to stretch for a few minutes a couple times throughout the day because I tense up so much. As far as gritting your teeth goes, I do that also and get terrible toothaches and jaw pains. I have to remind myself to go slackjaw when I start feeling panicky because that always seems to be the first place I tense up. I always have that dreamy, spaced out feeling as well. I hate that feeling!! When you get it though, just remind yourself that it's just the anxiety and it will pass. Try not to pay attention to it. I know that's so hard to do, but if you try not to pay too much attention to it, it will start to go away. Just keep telling yourself that you are ok, you've been through this thousands of times and haven't had anything drastic happen. This time is no different and you will get through it also. Keep telling yourself that over and over. Positive thinking is the key! Very difficult, especially when in you're in the throws of an attack, but it is the key. Write down what you're feeling. Write down your physical symptoms and your thoughts. I don't know why, but getting it out on paper really helps! Hang in there - You're going to be ok! I promise you are stronger than you feel!
