I'm glad that you have some answers about your dizziness. It's frustrating to think that we could have something wrong with us and not know because we are so used to being in some sort of discomfort. That's why it's smart that you went to the doctor. What you choose to do now is up to you, and, I hope that you make the right decision for yourself. Good luck.

hey vickers, I know how you feel, like you've been tricked. You try so hard to stay on top of the anxiety that sometimes you loose your basic instinct. After a while you learn not to trust your instincts. I was anemic when I was pregnant. Using supplements did the trick for me. Do you eat much meat? I am glad that you found how why your are dizzy. I know how you feel and I know your frusturation..Feel better :)

hi vickers! I know its hard for you to deal with anemia again. But look at the bright side, at least you know what the dizziness is from!!! That way, you dont' have to start searching on 'google' to figure out why u feel this way lol....they call it the 'google monster.' Dont worry, I know its hard right now to deal with this. But now that you know what the problem is, ask the doctor what you can do to help you for good. I used to have really low iron as well. I did not want to take medicated stuff cause thats my personal choice. so, i went to a homeopathic doctor, and i still do for my anxiety! I find that the natural medicine really helped me. I noticed a big difference. But its totally up to you if u want to try natural stuff. Its healthier though!!! And the thing that i love about homeopathy is that they cure you from the ROOT of the problem. they find out WHY you are anemic, and thats how they begin the healing process. So if you want, i can get more info for you. Let me know! Just take it easy. Dont beat yourself up for this. Everyone has something to deal with. Its normal!!! Smile :)

Vickers, Anemia is the result of a lower-than-normal level of red blood cells (RBCs). Treatment for anemia depends on what is causing the anemia. If you do not know why you have anemia and was diagnosed, I would suggest for you to contact your doctor and ask him/her why you were diagnosed. The Panic Center is here to assist you in educating yourself about panic and anxiety. If you feel your anemia is contributing to your anxiety/panic then please contact your doctors and discuss your concerns. We hope we have guided you in the right direction today :). Melanie

Well, I found out why I keep getting the dizzy spells and headaches I've been panicking about all month. I have anemia again. I am so frustrated about this! I had a problem where I was menstruating every day for about 5 or 6 months and became anemic and went to the doctor, got on birth control, took iron, got it all worked out. It was really good for about 5 months and that's when the dizzy spells hit again. So, after about a month of that, I saw the doctor thinking I had a sinus infection or something - writing it off as anxiety the whole time. I got the blood work results in the mail today. Anemia - again. I'm so frustrated right now. I kept writing this off as anxiety or the flu or a sinus infection or something. I thought I had fixed all of this anemia the last time. The bleeding is under control and back to normal so I don't understand how I could be anemic again. I don't know why I'm so frustrated. I guess it's because everything has symptoms so close to anxiety that I feel like I could have some serious medical problem for who knows how long before I go see a doctor and just keep trying to convince myself it's anxiety instead. But, if I go to the doctor every time I feel like something's wrong (as you all know) then 99.9% of the time, it's going to just be the anxiety. ARGH Sorry - just needed to vent a little. I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about since so many of you have been through the same frustration about medical stuff. Has anyone else had anemia? Any advice on how to get rid of it for good?
