Hey vickers! I love to help out as much as i can! so thats no problem! About the weakness in the legs, yaaaaa i get that too. I usually get weak in legs and even arms. Its anxiety! Its normal to feel this though in anxious situations as well. for example, havn't u ever heard of the expression 'feeling weak in the knees' when someone is nervous about something, such as making a speech in front of many people. Well, thats how u know its just anxiety. Dont worry, we will fight this silly anxiety...........i feel like punching it in the face hahaha. ;p

Vickers, Please do let us know when you get the results back from your doctor. I am eager to hear them. I'm sure its just the anxiety. Good Luck! I know what you mean about the weak feelings you mentioned. I get them too. Man it really does stink. One symptom triggers another, then the combination triggers a horrible panic attack with all sorts of thoughts and fears running through my mind. It's doubly scary for me when I'm at work. I hate having anxiety and panic. Take care, Samantha

Hey Guys! Thanks for your responses! It's wonderful to know I'm not alone and feeling like this is normal. It stinks though! I work at a doctor's office and decided to just go get checked out today. I've been dealing with this every day for a month now and it's getting very annoying! I told the doctor that I have anxiety and am pretty sure that's what this is, but she wants to do some lab tests and rule out physical things first. So, she's testing for diabetes, anemia and thyroid problems. She said I don't have a sinus infection or ear infections, like I was thinking it might be. I'll let you all know what the verdict is when I find out, hopefully next week. Maybe that will help some of you find out why you feel this way also. I'm pretty sure it's just physical symptoms from the anxiety though. I used to just feel like this at work, but the last few days it's been going on at home also. I'm also feeling weakness in my legs with the dizziness. Do you all get that as well? Do you feel this every day all day long? I can't understand why this won't go away! I'm so tired of being weak and dizzy!! Crimeny!! Thank you to everyone who responded and shared your experiences - it gives me hope!

Wow, I have been experiencing the exact same thing. It has been sooo scary. I'm really glad that Vickers started this discussion. Apparently it's just another horrible symptom of the anxiety. (As if we need more than we already have.)

HI vickers! I experience that SAME pressure in my head and around my eyes. it almost feels like i'm gonna tip over from how heavy the pressure is. It makes me so dizzy. thats soooooooooo ANNOYING. About remembering things, i dont' knwo whats wrong with me either but I used to have such a sharp memory. Now i cannot even remember what i ate yesterday lol. I know its a fact that anxiety causes your concentration to decrease. So i know its just that. I think u will be fine.......this is just anxiety AGAIN. Anxiety is so annoying. It just hangs around and pokes us all the time. Its making me so angry so now i'm POKING THE ANXIETY.....trying to annoy it for a while lol. smile, u are fine :)

Vickers, As you can see your not alone in this and these individuals can be a comfort. Take the time to relax and note if this persists. You can always go to your doctor to rule out anything medical. Use your diary everyday to perhaps pinpoint what might be causing this. Let us know how we can help, Josie ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

hey vickers! I experience the SAME thing. Mental "UN clarity"- having trouble finding words, feeling like your 'missing' something mentally. I have my ups and downs with this bizzare feeling. Just want to let you know you are not alone in this experience. It's so weird how many times I have found things written on this website that I could never explain or put into words for someone else. Gotta run, take care!

I need some advice with a new symptom I've been having for a month now. I've been thinking about going to the doctor but after years and years of going and nothing being wrong, as you all know from personal experiences, I really don't want to go because I'm pretty sure this is just anxiety. I've been doing very well with not having panic attacks for about six months after doing the CBT. Some anxiety, nothing major. About a month ago, I'm at work and I get this extreme dizzy spell out of nowhere. Had a huge panic attack and went in the breakroom and ate an orange thinking my blood sugar plummeted or something. Every day since then, I have had this pressure in my head either above my eyes, in my temples or all around my head. Sometimes it's just a pressure, sometimes it's a buzzy feeling. Sometimes it's just a constant dizziness. The dizziness is usually always there though. This usually goes away after I leave work. The last couple days it's been happening a little bit at home as well though. Not as bad, but present anyway. Because it usually goes away after I leave work, I'm thinking it must be anxiety. What is scaring me about it today though is that a couple times in the last month I've had bouts of confusion. Not like I don't know what's going on but like I'm having a hard time concentrating, or things just don't make sense or look right. One time my husband called me at work and it felt like when someone wakes you up from a deep sleep and in the back of your head it's like you know who it is, but it doesn't quite make sense. Does that make any sense at all?! I feel like a lunatic! I also have been having a hard time remembering things and sometimes I keep tripping over my words. I feel like I have a brain tumor or something but I keep trying to convince myself it's just anxiety. SOOOO....... I thought rather than going to the doctor and sounding insane yet again, I would try to confirm it's just anxiety but seeing if any of you have the same sort of symptoms first. Does anyone else get this way?! Any advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and sorry for going on and on!
