Hey Debbie i know what you mean about TV shows i have to be careful what i watch because i get bad anxiety from some of the shows that are on these days.i watched one a while ago about a murder and i couldnt sleep that night for fear that someone was gonna break in a murder my family so i decided to limit what i watch and it does help.Just try and watch happy shows and have a good laugh and see if that helps. Dear Jen, Thank you for posting me. I saw your other post about lexapro withdrawal and yes your symptoms are classic for withdrawal from and SSRI, they all do that when you withdraw, it goes away with time I am sorry you are having those symptoms, I had those when I first started Paxil and am still having them. I am not in severe pain it hurts and of course I am dwelling on it, I was constipated for a few weeks and now its diareaha, I have not been eating too much so I do not understand it, I am constantly sick to my stomach, this anxiety lasts all day even when not having an attack, I do not think the paxil is good for my system, I am scared to take it scared not too. I feel so sick everyday Jen, like I have some flu or something every single day I am sick! I so hate it, I am praying for it to end. Please let me know how you are. God bless, Debbie.

hi debbie, anxiety gives you all those symptoms that what mine are plus the chest pain.i refuse to watch things like that now as it just feeds the anxiety especially if our anxiety is conected to health. two weeeks ago someone i worked with died suddenly with heart failure it sent me off on the road to hell again.i then discovered later that she had overdozed with drink and pills so really that what caused the heart failure.please try not to worry i postes on another tread to you i hope its helpful take care lynn

Debbie- Yes, anxiety CAN cause all of the things you have listed. The other thing you're forgetting though is that ADVANCED cancer usually presents the symptom of PAIN as the cancer is spreading and the mass is growing!!! Are you in severe pain? If you are, just make an appt. with your physician and get it checked out. I'm sure she can do a routine pelvic exam and rule out any abnormalities... Don't stress yourself out. I know, I do it too...I've spent about $1,000 in the past month on neurology tests. So I KNOW how you feel. Trust me, chances are it is worse in your mind than it is in reality. Good luck...

I was watching TV late last night and saw a program about a 37 year old woman who was very sick, she was constantly tired, depression, anxiety, diaraeah, nausea etc...She went from Doctor to Doctor and they could find nothing wrong, one even put her on antidepressants and one said it was "all in her head" called her a hypocrondirac. Finally it was discovered she had advanced Ovarian cancer! I of course have been having all those above symptoms for days now even before I watched this, even urinating alot which is another sign. I woke up in a full-blown panic, I even dreamt about it, right now I am shaking convinced I have it, my son saw me in a full-blown panic attack this morning and I am usually alright first thing in the morning, do you think its ovarian cancer? I know the above are signs of anxety too, but the diareaha and constant urination is new the last week, this is terrible, first I thought I had a brain tumor and now this, why do I do this to myself? I feel like the medicine is not helping one little bit its been 6 weeks and now relief and the scary thoughts about illness and dying have escalated, my nurse is leaving so I have to find someone else, I hate being like this, I feel like I am getting worse instead of better, I knew the Paxil was not a cure-all but I thought it would not make me worse. I cannot get it out of my head that I have some horrible fatal diesease, if I could just accept its panic anxiety and depression, I wish I had NOT watched that stupid scary show, it has set me back since I am just like that woman on it and now I am afraid I have it, can anxiety cause diareah, nausea, frequent urination? I am shaking so badley. God I just wish this would all end. Debbie.
