Intense Jaw, facial, and head tension

Dear Becky, I was going to post you tomm I was concerned about how you were doing. It sounds like all the stress of your job is manifesting itself in your head and jaw areas, like I usually get the nausea and stomach pain, youre's is in the facial area. I wonder if it could be TMJ that is not bad or anything its just your jaw slightly out of alignment, they say if you can put 3 fingers in your mouth without discomfort you do not have TMJ, I can hardly do it my jaw like "pops" when I try. I think through its the stress and you know I so understand what that can do, I am sorry you are having this and I will pray, does it go away on the weekends when you are home? I hope it goes away I hate to see you in pain. I have had a rough day, I wont even go into it, I am trying to forget about it and pray tomm will be better. Let me know how you are Becky. Sending prayers, Debbie.

Hi everyone, I am hoping someone here may have some idea as to what is causing and how to ease this jaw, face, and head tension that I keep getting. I think it may be caused by stress. I don't grind my teeth in my sleep, I wish I did at least I would have a reason. I am in a high stress job, as the day goes on I can feel the tension in my head, it feels like pressure, the muscles in my jaw are so tight, it feels weird too talk, and my face and head even seem tense, just very tight. I feel like I am off balance, almost to the point that I feel weird and like everything around me is not real, I just feel so spacey when this happens, then my anxiety goes way up when this happens to me and it is usually in the evenings, sometimes I will get it during the day. It usually comes and goes. When it's bad, I feel like I have so much pressure in my head and my jaws feel like I have been clenching my teeth all day, but I haven't. If anyone has any thoughts I would really appreciate it Thanks in advance. Becky
