Why does anxiety and panic just sneak up and knock your feet from under you i have been travelling along reasonably ok i have been able to calm myself down when ive started to panic and have accomplished things in the past week like driving my son to school by myself i went to the beauty salon for some waxing and have been able to go to the shops(not alone yet!) all of which i havnt been able to do for 3 months then all of a sudden Bam down i go again. Its such a vicious cycle but im really trying hard not to go down again but its so hard to be positive when you have a feeling of dread surrounding you. Oh Lulu you will be fine you are very young and you do not smoke please dont worry about clots women can safely take the pill till 35 40 or older if they do not smoke. I am feeling a bit better, and I am so grateful I just hope it lasts I want so much to climb out of this panic and depression hole I have fallen so deeply into. Starting new meds, any meds is a little scary I know it is for me, I left the Paxil in my med chest for a month before I worked up the nerve to take it. On the plus side when I took the pill in my twenties my periods were lighter and cramps were not bad. Let me know how it goes. God bless, Deb.

Dear Lulu, I understand your fear, I know the pills today are more low-dose. Do you smoke? if not no worries, how old are you? I am sure you will not get a blood clot, that is swollen and hot to the touch and you dont have that, I do understand I worry about those kind of things too, I worry so much I think its my middle name! Let me know how you are. God bless, Debbie

I started an oral contraceptive 7 days ago if i was going to get a blood clot or some other side effect do you think it would have happened by now?I stopped bleeding on saturday but im still spotting brownish blood.Im sure its just panic and anxiety but i have a huge cramp in my leg and even though i am trying positive thoughts i still feel all panicky i keep thinking its a blood clot and its going to travel up to my heart my chest feels all tight is this a panic attack or worse?.I should have known my happy state wouldnt last but right now im scared something horrible is going to happen and i feel all spacey and shakey and tingly and its like im just waiting for that terrible moment and i am sick of being scared of these sensations but i cant make them stop i am sick of my life being consumed by this.Should i continue on with the pill or should i stop and wait till i see my doctor next week?Any advice would be appreciated. Lulu..
