Thanks guys, so far no real panic, just high anxiety and shortness of breath. Its very hot here in Florida. Alison when I read your post I understood, I sleep with a little nightlight, I understand when you said "time you can never get back" my son is not like me about my health and panic {thank God} he fears hurricanes, almost obessive about it, they fasinate him and scare him at the same time, he is always on weather sites, other than he is fine, sometimes I think he is more mature than me, I have felt like a terrible Mother lately, I get telling him I love him, I am sorry and try to comfort him and be with him. I am trying to get up the nerve and courage to take my Paxil, I am petrified to take it with Klonopin, I have never read or knew anyone who takes these together, its usually Zoloft and Xanax or another combo, I only wish I knew how safe it is, everyone on this site and prayer gets me through, my goal is to wake one morning and not fear I am going to drop dead of a heart attack or some other terrible thing, I do not want money power or even happiness just that, to be normal and not feel like I am going to die, I am praying very hard for that. Thanks, God bless, Debbie.

Hi Debbie! I've been thinking about you too! How is your son doing? What do you think he makes of all this? How long do your periods of panic usually last for? How long has this one been? Last fall, I was waiting on some blood test and nearly lost my mind. I went to bed crying every night and didn't even want to sleep with the light off! (coo coo!) That was my worse time ever, it lasted intensely for a month, then another month to recover. This is time spent that you can never get back. Do you have any doctor you feel good with and can trust? I'm glad you connected with your husband, every bit of support helps. I was reading a book about helping your anxious child tonight, it said if your child reads a book and reads bruising can be a sign of cancer and gets upset and anxious,to ask them to find other more likely causes of bruises. This is not only good advice for kids, but adults too. Think of the more realistic, more probably causes of your chest pain, like stress and anxiety. I've had head pain and chest pain go on for weeks before. The more I focused on it, the worse it got. When I moved on or the doctor said it was fine, I got better. Have you ever googled all the symptoms that anxiety can cause? I say this is in all sincerity and loving advice: You need to start walking out from under this cloud whether you FEEL like it or not. Just start taking action and the feelings will follow. You can do this! Fake it till you make it! Go girl ! ;)

Dear Gina, Hi thanks for caring about me. I have had a real rough day, I did not post because I figured I bothered and whined enough, the chest pains were terrible today, I have to take a Klonopin, I only got 4 hours sleep and that in it self makes a person feel awful. I had a good talk with my husband, for the first time in months and it helped, he thinks my mind is so powerful and always running its causing this, there may be some truth to that, I may start the Paxil tomm, the Zoloft withdrawal has been hellish, I am so exhausted I hope I sleep tonight, normally I sleep alright I always know when I am at my worst because then I cannot. I am praying for guidance. I must concentrate on my son, even through he says my pain and panic do not bother him I know it does and I feel terrible about it, it must really be bad for my son and husband to see me like this. I am going to try to control myself better, stop dwelling on health symptoms and function better. I know you understand Gina {I think everyone on this site does} I hope you are well. God bless, Debbie.
