That sounds just like mine....add the congested ear and crackling/popping. It drives me nuts!!! A TMJ specialist wanted 500.00 just for a consult. I havent had much luck with dentists. Guess I'll go buy a mouth piece to wear at night because I do clench alot. THANKS FOR THE REPLY KHRIS!!

So sorry for the delay. Mine is pretty bad. It does cause slight dizzy spells and my jaw and ear often hurt. It is very very very tender to touch in that soft bony corner of your jaw. I also find that I clench my jaw very hard at times (anxiety) and it makes it worse. It will also cause you to have bad headaches. Do NOT pop your jaw if you are in the habit of doing it. It only makes things worse!!! Also the ear ringing is terrible. You can get a mouth guard to help with tmj or the dentist can make you one.

Hi! you replied to my post on jaw pain. Do you have TMJ? I am wondering if it could cause dizziness or equilibrium problems? It sure bothers my ears! My dentist told me to just leave it alone as I can eat and open wide ok. Ho hum! Thanks!
