Quitting for Good this time

5 years ago 0 796 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Mike,
Welcome to the stop smoking center. I can't wish you good luck since luck really has nothing to do with quitting, it's all determination, but I do wish you the best on your quit journey.  "longest I have ever quit was about 9 months" That was great stretch. If you did it once, you should be able to do it again. Especially since your kids are part of your motivation this time.  Do you know what the trigger was to make you start smoking again after your last attempt? Do you think you have a way of fighting it this time? Since you have quit before, you know that your emotions and temper will be on a roller coaster at the beginning of your quit. Be sure to count to 10 before you loose cool.
Stay strong and keep us updated on your progress okay?

Hey everyone, my name is Mike. I have been a smoker on and off for about 15 years now, longest I have ever quit was about 9 months and I am determined to quit for good this time for myself and my kids. My first smoke free day will be tomorrow. Wish me luck.
