Welcome!

Congrats on 60 days! Amazing work.

As Timbo explained a cough is a very common withdrawal symptoms. If your cough does not go away or if you are concerned it is best to get it checked out by a doctor.

For more information on withdrawal symptoms check out the session on withdrawal within the program.

Hi Leecampas,
Congratulations on quitting smoking!  When you quit, coughing and phlegm are a normal response from your body starting the healing process. You've inhaled a lot of toxins over the years and it will take some time for your lungs and sinuses to clear up and get back to normal. If you are really concerned about it, or it gets worse please contact your doctor.  Better safe that sorry when smoking is involved.  "Feeling great and proud". You have every right to feel great and proud. It is a great accomplishment!
Stay strong.
