Day 3

It sounds like you are ready for big changes! Congratulations on getting to this point. Deciding is often the hardest part.

You have ambitious goals. Be sure not to overwhelm yourself. Make sure quitting smoking is your number one focus right now. Avoiding alcohol may help you to stay quit, drinking is often a trigger for many. Healthy eating and exercise is always helpful in feeling better (even during withdrawal); but, if those goals can't be a priority right now that is ok. Remember once you are successfully quit for a few months exercise will get easier.

How are you feeling today?

Hang in there!

3 days is huge, I am on day 1, and it feels like hell.
Last time I quit day 3 was the worst for me.

Thinking about you!

Glad you are taking the steps to quit smoking! keep it up!

Day 3 is always the hardest for me.
I have been here many times this year.
But I can tell this time is different.
My injuries have almost completely healed.
I want to be alive and healthy for the next 30 years.
I have had 30 years of smoking, drinking, eating poorly, not taking care of myself,
I have had enough to last a lifetime.  Now is the time to take care of my body so I can enjoy
the next 30 years.

But God I want a cigarette
