Welcome,

Congrats on getting started! It sounds like video games and alcohol are triggers for you. Finding out what your triggers are and preparing accordingly is a big part of a successful quit. Some people take a break from drinking for the first while of their quit. How do you feel about that? If that's not an option how do you think you can prepare, find alternatives or mitigate the temptation while you are either drinking or playing video games?

Recently after binge drinking and chewing in Mexico I've been having a really bad sore throat and trouble swallowing. I'm a college student so binge dirnking isn't necessarily my worry but I'll be cutting back on alcohol as well and quitting tobacco all together. I have quit in the past but have trouble once I play video games or start drinking. Just posting here for support, thank you.
