That's great news that you had 8 years smoke free - you have wisdom to fall back on. What did you learn then, that you can apply now?

Good on you for quitting , not sure when good time to stop patches . Me I went cold turkey realised it was the nicotine addiction that kept me smoking. Most keep off them cigarettes best of luck

I smoked about a pack for 36 years. About 8 years ago, I ended 8 years of being smoke free.  What a bummer! I'm using 7mg patch and some gum. When would be a good time to stop the patches? Thanks for any support! I'm going to need all the help you will give.
