I am praying for you and your family Debbie! Remember that God has a larger plan and even though we may not agree with it, or we think it isn't fair, He will see you through it if you ask for His help. Know that there is a reason for everything in His plan. Sigh.... I know that doesn't make it any easier. I am so sorry you are dealing with this! Hang in there!! Let us know how it goes.

Thank you so very much, all of you. Each and everyone of your posts touched my heart. I have been praying non-stop, especially to St. Jude the patron of hopeless and helpless cases, he has helped me and saved my son twice in the past, I trust and believe in prayer. Your concern and loving compassion are helping me through this terrible time. I hope I have good news for everyone. God bless you all, I thank God for everyone on this site, you are wonderful. Debbie.

Debbie, I went through the same thing with my brother several months ago...except it was his son, he'd od'd. I felt very stressed, but realized that perhaps I was doing what the Bible calls, "bearing one anothers burdens." I prayed a lot, and sensed I should call a Christ Church in their area to pray. I didn't want to call the Christ Church, because I am Pentacostal, but the name Christ Church just kept coming to me. I called all the Pentacostal churches 1st, and could not get through to anyone, finally I called Christ Church, got through to the pastor, and he said he was sick, but would call his best friend, the Pentacostal minister, who just happened to be the chaplain of the hospital my nephew was in. Go figure! Sean's eeg was flat lined, so we pretty much figured they would have to pull the plug. They did an MRI and said he had to much brain damage, but I told my brother, that's not what I'm sensing when I pray, I sense a little damage to the right brain, that he will come around and be about 80% of where he was. After 3 days, despite the Dr. verdict, Sean opened his eyes, and was out of the hosp. in 2 weeks. He needed some therapy on his left side (the right brain damage I had sensed) but is otherwise fine. My point is, don't stop praying, call everyone you can to pray, we on here are praying. God can do miracles. And don't worry too much about the stress you are feeling, you are bearing your own burdens as well as your brothers'. God must think u r strong enough. Bless you, Cathie

I have not posted for a few days. I got horrible news from my brother in Ohio, his fiance is very sick in the hospital in a coma, I am devastated, I have been on the phone with him all the time trying to comfort him and cheer him up, then when I hang up I sob and cry, his fiance has the same thing my Mother had 6 years ago, and my Mother died, its like reliving my Moms death all over for my brother and family, his fiance's room is even right next door to my Moms room where she died! Its dreadful! And whats really making me mad at myself is that I am now developing her symptoms, brain swelling, headaches...I know I am being a hypocondriac and I despise myself for it. I try to be strong for my little brother and not show him my panic and fear, the hospital does not even know what exactly to do, its so frustrating and terrifying for my brother, I am trying to be strong, this happened last thursday I did not even want to upset anyone on the site about this, what she has is very rare for her age. Her name is Holly if anyone would like to pray for her. I am NOT handling this well, in a crisis I am not good, I have been faking it for my brothers sake, he needs support so much now, I have to calm down and think about him and her, not myself and still take care of my husband and son, I had an attack this afternoon, not a major one, but still scary. Sorry this is so long, I guess I just needed to get it out. I hope everyone is well, and I am so happy about VIckers good test results. Please send prayers my familys way. God bless, Debbie.
