Have your wife stop by sometime to go through the Program and read some posts here on the Forums!  That may be just the motivation she needs to start kicking some nico-demon ash!!!    We'll be here to help out in any way we can!!!

Oops my previous post looks lopsided... not sure what happened there
It was supposed to read
" Apologises for such a late reply to this thread, but I've only just come across it.
May I add my congratulations on your 100 days, well 115 now
Can't wait to be in your position. Stay strong buddy, what you are doing is truly amazing.
I hope your wife is doing well too.  "
Hope this is more readable this time, lol x

Timbo,

What a great milestone!

How does it feel?
How are you celebrating?
When is your next celebration?

I love hearing how people celebrate!

Hi Timbo,

That first 100 days is always an amazing feeling!  Congratulations!!!

I do hope your wife does quit, but just remember that everyone's quit is different, and what works for one will not always work for another.

You are so right...........Mind set is everything! You must want to quit more than you want to smoke, and that is hard to remember in the middle of a crave!   But, as you say, it CAN be done and you are doing it.......Well Done!

Whatever it takes, just don't smoke!!!

Today makes 100 days for me being smoke free! It appears that I'm one of the lucky ones. I have not had any urges to smoke since day one. The only issue I've had is relearning how to deal with stress without a smoke. Things have been going so well that my wife has decided to try and stop smoking next week!!!  I hope it goes well for her too.
For all of you thinking of quitting, it CAN be done, but you have to really WANT to quit. It's 10% physical and 90% mental. The physical part will be over in a matter of days, but the mental part will last for weeks, months and even years from what I understand. If you are in the right mind set, it will happen. Good luck to everyone!
N.O.P.E.!
