I quit smoking long ago. Through the cessation of smoking, I upheld that a point would come in which we no longer would have an urge, a temptation, or a desire to smoke again. Some may not have felt the same as I, however they may agree that the mere abstinence from smoking, diminishes the urge to smoke to a trivial if not an insignificant level. 

For the new quitter here, time heals all wounds.  For those who are and have been persistence, you substantiate my belief.
