Great works Carols!

Sounds like you are fighting through this quite well. Take care of your leg and be easy on yourself. The exercise will be a huge help but your body needs rest too.

Stay strong!

Glad that you are not fixating on cigs at this point. Truth of the matter is that we all have difficult days that aren't necessarily related to smoking or not smoking. But dealing with them without the constant need for a nicotine fix is a lot more pleasant.

Is almost over.....7PM here.

Thank goodness it's been a bit easier than yesterday.  Dreadful night again, total of 4.5 hours of sleep in 2 sessions, so got up cranky.  Went for my walk and seem to have developed an issue with muscle in back of right thigh.  Tried stretching and went slowly until it warmed up.  Have used hot compresses, massaging and ibuprofen.  I think I've pulled something as it is quite painful.  Not enough sleep means not enough muscle recovery and I'm pushing everyday as exercise makes me feel good!  Tomorrow I think I'll take a rest day, might have no choice!

Yes it is getting both physically and mentally exhausting, but for some reason I'm not fixated on cigs, they don't really appeal, nor does the act of smoking.  It seems to be the nicotine I crave, guess it made me feel good and cigs were just the means to get it.

I will NOT smoke that much I know :)

Where is the Pledge a Day thread?  I can't seem to find it.

Thanks all for the support
