Thanks you guys! I manage to get through so much because of the support I get here - I am eternally grateful for all of you! Debbie - I did buy myself a chocolate ice cream cone on the way home from the appointment. I try not to eat too much sugar because of the boost in adrenaline and anxiety it gives me, but I thought (with a sniffle and a whimper) I deserve something for getting through this - especially since I went to the appointment alone! ;) Hee hee hee Thanks again!!

Dear Vickers, I am SOOOO proud of you, you handled yourself so well, much much better than myself I know! An OB-GYN visit is never pleasant and you got through it with strength and dignity, that woman screaming would of freaked me out for sure, you are very strong! I know its not cancer, its probably a hormone problem or premenopause "fun" that I know is in my near future. I bet you want to rest and chill out after that, I am sure it will be good news and I am so glad the Doctor was decent. Treat yourself to an ice-cream sundae or a new outfit, you deserve it! Please let me know how you are. God bless you, Debbie.

I went to the gynecologist today. I managed to stay calm about it all day because I didn't want my blood pressure to be up, which would make me panic more. My blood pressure was right where it's supposed to be so that was good. After I got there and the nurse did her thing and left, I was waiting for the doctor and the lady in the next room started screaming!! As most of you know, I went to the gyno because my regular doctor told me I might need a biopsy because of my seriously funky menstruation lately. I have been very anxious and panicky about this ever since because I have never done this before and wasn't sure if it needed to be done. I knew in the bottom of my gut this screaming lady was getting a biopsy and ice ran through my veins! I managed to calm down before the doctor came in and I laughed with him about the screaming and how nervous it made me - trying to calm down. Then after we got done with all the talking, he said, "Well, you're not going to like what I have to say. You're going to need a biopsy." Instant panic! He left so I could get undressed and while I was sitting on the table waiting for him I kept praying, please God stay by my side and help me stay strong so I can get through this! Well, I was so nervous that my toes kept curling while he was doing his thing and my whole body was shaking. My lips started tingling, my head was buzzing and I felt like passing out. I kept saying over and over in my head, just breathe, just breathe! He was really nice though. He told me everything he was doing before he did it and was really gentle. I felt a quick pinch and he said, ok. And I unclenched my fists and opened my eyes and said, that's it? And he said, yep. I was like, that can't be it! The lady in the next room acted like she was dying and it was nothing! He helped me up and I felt silly because my knees were knocking and it took me about an hour to stop shaking - and it was really nothing! A quick pinch and that was it. Isn't it ridiculous that I got myself so worked up over nothing?! Crimeny! Anyways, he's doing the biopsy to check for cancer, which he said is extremely treatable if that is the problem. I'll let you know how that goes. I just wanted to take a minute and thank you all so much for h
