Yup I had the gastro-reflux problem as well, and with the medication the symptoms disappeared, but I still get the lumps in my throat every so often. I hope you are doing better Gina, just concerned about you. Keep us posted. Take care, B

Hi Gina, I kept getting this feeling too and it turned out to be gastro-intestinal reflux disease (gerd). For hours everyday, it felt like there was something stuck in my throat. My Dr put me on Prevacid and it helped. But in a couple of years despite the meds, it came back. So I cut out fried foods, foods high in fat, italian spices, citrus. Then I found a website by a Dr Walt Stohl which recomended drinking 1 tsp of fresh ginger juice each morning 2 hours before eating anything for 3 wks. Since it didn't cost much, I did it. And much to my surprise, I feel much better now. Although I have to be careful to not overindulge, I can eat foods which I couldn't previously and not feel like I am choking later. Your prob may just be stress but if you notice the choking sensation around food times, mebbe ask your dr about gerd. And if you try the ginger on your own, keep in mind that it will burn, a lot. At least it did for me but I'm a bit of a pansy. :) Hope this helps. Good luck. C
