SAD

Thanks for your response. I have had depression in the past, but this year is the first time I have ever had anxiety.I have improved significantly in the last few weeks as the weather has improved, and my depressions usually ended in May. I am doing the Panic Center course, and anything else that might help - relaxation, aromatherapy, positive thinking, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, no caffeine or alcohol, and am being prayed for by a lot of friends and family.

My wife has been diagnosed with SAD. She exhibits no PA/PD symptoms, only depression. Don't skimp on the lightbox - buy only high quality. By using a 10,000 lumen task lighting unit and spending some time near my 20,000 lumen indoor grow lamps (I'm a bonsai hobbist), she did not need to take any meds this past winter. This made both of us rather happy and made winter a tolerable season for her. Good luck to you!

Has anyone else had it suggested to them that they are suffering with SAD - lack of light in winter? I think I shall need to buy a light box in the Autumn.
