Can?t Believe it Triggers?

Hey Rose!

Been a while, eh!  I'm so glad that you are still hanging in there, but I just knew you would!    You're cruisin' now and sailing right on into the beach over yonder!!!  Anyways, that story really hit a nerve with me! and if that pharmacist had done that to me, I would be talking to store manager stating they had just lost a good customer and possibly many more due to his employee's ignorant, uncaring and unprofessional comments and demanded an apology!   Ashley's probably right, though... he could have been just very envious of you for succeeding where he can not!  Now that I think about it, I may have offered him a big smile and sincere comment of support when he decides to quit!    Sometimes it is best to take the high road!!!

       You're doing great!!!

Wow!

I have never heard anything like that! A pharmacist should know better then to taunt you like that. Ridiculous!

She was probably just jealous of your success and will power That;s her problem, not yours.

Good for you for getting through it! You are doing amazing!

Good Morning Bill and working on it..
Thanks for the support as always...

Your so right Bill if I can face those triggers down I should be able to face down anything..I am stronger for the experience..
I did have a smoking dream last night after the all that b.s. at the pharmacy yesterday..Working on it I don't know why a person what do such a thing to someone who quit smoking..The only reason I can think of is because he wants to quit smoking himself and handed the pack of cigarettes to me in a gesture meaning to say, Here take these..Of course if he had ever quit smoking before he would never think of doing such a thing. I guess his mind was full of smoke and nicotine and his junkie mind took over. Anyway not to worry I am safe and sound and still not smoking..I looked the demon in the face and resisted him once again yesterday..I am going to see about getting my Rx's in the mail from now on that way I won't have to be subjected to that trigger again at the pharmacy. Thats how I usually get my med's if it is going to be a maintence medicine.

I will not smoke today because I want to live and breathe...
I want to continue to walk around on my own two legs and enjoy life...

Well I am just stunned at that story. You'd think a pharmacist would appreciate the importance and difficulty of quitting smoking. But...Roses you are stronger for it! Well Done ! If you can face down that you can face down anything !

I will not smoke today ! Bone head pharmacists or not !

Woah. Holy moly! Why would someone do such a thing?

Congrats to you for resisting the urge.

I had a I can't believe it trigger today..

I was filling some Rx's today after a hard day of doctors appt. and such..I was getting directions on how to take my new breathing medicines and my water pill Lasix from one of the pharmacists today..I mentioned how I had quit smoking and not had a cigarette in over two months when one of the pharmacists took out a pack of Marlboro's lights and waved them in my face and said here take mine..I stood there shocked!! The pharmacist that was waiting on me said to the other pharmacists give them to me and I will get rid of them for you..I was a bit shocked and did feel like buying a pack for a  couple of hours, but resisted..Thank God they were not the Marlboro Red 100's that I used to smoke and that I had just came from my doctors appointment where we had just discussed the fact that I now have a enlarged ventricle on the left side of my heart from to many years of untreated high blood pressure and to many years of smoking..That this is now making it hard for my heart to pump and is why I am so short of breath.

This may sounds crazy but Thank God that things went the way they did today or I might be smoking right now..
