I think I have hit the 6 month mark, in some way or another. A I recall, my quit date was May 8th, and it's now November 8th. But I'm also on Day 185, and 185 times 2 = 370 (over 1 year). I obviously screwed up on recording or counting somewhere, but I'm still pretty sure I've hit the 1/2 year mark. Yay!

Hey Snice!!!

It's actually 1701 smoke free days and over 42,000 cigs or 2100 packs...or more not smoked!    Sort of boggles the mind.  I think I figured the cost of cigarettes when I quit at $3.50 a pack and I know that they are up over $5 now!  I'll have to check into that and maybe make an adjustment to see if I can afford another big reward!

As for not thinking about smoking for a whole day... it will come!  Right now, I think about smoking every day because I try to get on here and read and post every day!  I was offline for a few months over a year ago because I could no longer get on here at work and my laptop (reward) was stolen.  Although I thought about this place nearly every day, I did go for days sometimes and not think about smoking.  I think your probably wanting to know when one stops thinking about wanting to smoke on a daily basis, right?

The quick answer for you is soon... maybe?  It will definitely come, I promise!  Just keep on doing what you are doing and sticking close and think VERY long and hard about these 91 days you have remained smoke free if a really bad crave hits or if that opportunity to smoke just one ever presents itself!    You are soooo close to that freedom you are craving!  You seem to be very well at this point in your quit AND you'll reach the beach next week!  Good times for you and another reward just around the corner!  Keep plugging away!!

Way to go Jim, that's impressive!  It's crazy that you have not smoked 1,701 packs of cigarettes.  That's a lot!

I'm curious to know how often you think about smoking now.  I can't wait until I can go a whole day without thinking about it.

Congrats Carlos!  Way to hang in there! "Blah" week under you belt!!  Did you reward yourself?

Awesome Snice!  Just a little over a week on your cruise till you reach the beach!

Just noticed that I just surpassed my 17th consecutive 100 day milestone yesterday!  I'm going to reward myself with a trip to Florida starting tomorrow!  OK... I have to go for a meeting, but I'm going to reward myself anyways!

Happy Halloween everyone!
