laying in bed

Whenever I am having an insomnia night, I can always feel my heart pounding in many places - the bottom of my feet, my ears, my stomach, my armpits, my eyes, my back, my throat, everywhere! If you try to reposition yourself, sometimes it helps. Try not to think about it (yeah, right) and it will start to go away also. Just remember that we are very sensitive to our physical symptoms and the more we pay attention to whatever symptom it may be at that time, the worse it will seem. But, this doesn't make it more dangerous - just more noticeable.

I sometimes even feel my pulse in the back of my knee! Thats weird, huh? But with the headache too, its probably the anxiety.

Hey Gina me too!!! There is nothing scarier than feeling your heart beating thru your whole body! I am so relieved to see that you wrote that, and it makes me comforted! I also feel my head thump and have tingling sensations too, like my head just got rushed with blood, I know it's scary, but you are fine, I totally understand.
