Will I ever feel TRULY FREE?

Hey there everyone, Hang in there Antipanic, it really does get better. The trick to being free from panic is to accept it. Crazy but true. Whenever you try to put it aside or out of mind, it only comes back worse. There are probably specific triggers for everyone at some stage. But if you don't truly accept the panic those triggers will change from one thing to another and the cycle will never end. There's no cure for panic, but it's not as victimized as it sounds. You learn to live with it and that's where your control and freedom comes from. We all have an artillery of the soul, and that's the most powerful thing of all because it stems from love. Just sometimes wisdom doesn't come without the bite. Keep up with the panic program and go at your own pace. There really is light at the end of this tunnel. I€™ve been where you€™re at, it€™s terrible and seems endless. You can and will feel normal again with the right attitude, believe me. Remember, baby steps.

Isn't it funny, when you begin to feel better, you start to anaylize it and wonder why you feel good. I am doing the panic program and I think it has helped. Although, like you, I haven't been working on it. I think I need to be more consistent with it. It really does help identify what triggers your panic.

I woke up this morning, after 3 days in a row of bad anxiety and symptoms, and actually felt "normal". Well, as normal as a person like me can feel, with constant symptoms and anxiety/panic. Instead of just basking in my "normalness" I feel like I am living under a dark cloud... like this constant feeling of something hanging over my head. I keep thinking about the last 3 bad days, and the bad days to come rather than just enjoying my normal day while its here. Will I ever feel true release from anxiety and panic? Will it gradually go away? Or will I just wake up one day and it will be gone? I was doing the panic program and have gone a week without working on it. So, I need to get back to that today. Maybe that will help. Any advice? AP
