Panic is very common while driving. If I am driving, I am okay but if I am in the passenger seat, I feel panicked. Don't even get me started about being in the back seat!!!

OMG Ruby, I have had a lot of panic attacks sitting at stop lights. That feeling of being trapped is awful. I would go up a dose on your meds if the Doctor said too. My Paxil has finally kicked in and I was panic free on the way to work yesterday sitting at a stoplight. I have even had the urge to open my car door and put my left foot out on the ground. I never did it cause the people around me would think I'm nuts but thats how I felt.

Hi Ruby, Khris has an excellent point! You were able to get through it! Try to see your accomplishments in this experience. Casey ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Yes They Suck. Yes They are Horrible. BUT YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You did it and my gosh, you did it THROUGH a panic attack!!! You pressed on, you did not turn around or chicken out at home, YOU DID IT !!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!! And look, you did NOT freak out, you felt like it, but it did not happen. What a awesome thing to accomplish!!!

I forgot to add something when I last seen my doctor she told me I had to increase my medication (Effexor XR) but I to scared to do it because I'm worried it will make me worse. Ruby... :(

Hi Everyone, I had to go out this afternoon down to the shops it was about 15 minute drive from my place, anyway I didn't want to go out but I knew I had to as I had to take my son down to the shop to get him fitted for some black shoes, So I started to drive and as I got down the road I had to stop at a set of traffic lights, but in front of me was another car and there was another car behind me, anyway the first thing I thought was what if I have an attack how am I going to get out, there is a car in front of me and a car behind me, so then I started to feel an attack coming on it was going up and up I started freaking out, I'm saying to myself breath just do your breathing and believe me I was trying but it wasn't making much difference, I started rubbing my hands together, I could feel they were sweaty, Then I said to myself what if I beep the horn on the car will the other driver move over so I could get through, but just as I thought that the lights turned green so the car in front of me drove off. I felt like I was trapped. When I was stuck in between the cars. I am so sick of this, my anxiety has gotten worse and I just don't know what to do. I ended up going to the shop but I didn't feel well at all. I knew there was a toilet close if I had to use the bathroom in case I had an attack I had somewhere to run to and just lock myself in there. When your having an attack the feelings are horrible (I could say some other words but I won't not on here anyway)but you all would know what it's like. Ruby.... :(
