Hello Debbyp,

Thank you for sharing with us, the first week of your quit is often referred to as hell week. Many people find this first week the most difficult time so do know that the cravings will get better with time. Everyone's quit experience is different so just know that it will get better. Continue to stay strong, work through the program and know that we are here for you.

How will you reward yourself for getting through week 1?

Hello DebbyP It's nicotine that you're craving about now. By day 4 I was feeling like the life was being drained out of me. I can remember just curling up in the fetal position and riding it out (not much else I could do. They say that the nicotine is out of your system within 3 days. The physical part can be over in a very short while whereas the phsycological habitual component can take some time. You say that you have to quit ? If it isn't your idea to stop I don't see much chance of success. You have to stop smoking for you. It's all about you. Keep ice water handy to drown any cravings. View any cravings as your body healing. Four days smoke free is amazing. You're the most important person here. Yay for you for not smoking today. breather

HELP....Today is DAY #4 of NO NICOTINE...I am having a hard time with this...there are times that I crave the nicotine and almost through this all away.  I WILL STAY ON THE RIGHT ROAD...but how long does the withdrawl part take?  I have been using the E Cigrettes that carry NO NICOTINE or OTHER TOXINS.,  I did my research on all of the first.  I have to quit smoking for 4 weeks and then get a blood test from my doctor to have surgery...reconstruction due to cancer.  I know some will say that this will only make it harder smoking the ECigarettes but it really has helped.  I only smoke it outside as if I were smoking.  I have NEVER made it past 30 hours MAX with out smoking...so it is working for me...Also how long does it take for the Nicotine to leave your blood for a blood test...I want to get this test as soon as possible...but will remain smoke free...JUST NEED SOME WORDS TO HELP ME PLEASE?  God Bless You All....and THANKS for anyone that can help me....I NEED IT!
