Great psot Lainey!

For our newbies, how did you keep yourself motivated to continue to put the effort in?

We all know now, that the more you smoke, the more sick you become, and over the long run, smoking causes lung cancer, emphasema, COPD, macular degeneration, etc, and the list continues to grow on and on. There are a million reasons why you should quit. There are no good reasons to continue smoking.
What we need to be reminded of, is that you only get out of life, what you put in.
Quitting requires effort, and like everything else in life, the results don't happen if you don't make the effort.
We have all heard the definition of insanity: Doing the same thing every day but expecting a different outcome.
Quitting works when you try to stay smoke free. Quitting works when you consciously prepare yourself and change your daily routine. Quitting works when you use tools to help yourself become smoke free.
Quitting works when you make the effort, and like everything else, the effort has to be an honest one.
When you lost that 20 lbs it was because you followed the diet, or stuck to the workout! Your garden looks spectacular, because you were out there tending to it regularily. Your health improved when you made sure to eat your veggies and fruit daily.
You can quit, and you will quit, when you make the conscious,  honest effort to do so, and this is the best place to help you do that.
We know you can do it because we have done it. So come on in and try it. Get yourself quit! Bring it!
