I'm thinking that every season is better as a non-smoker!

Good work, folks! Keep it up!

You will love the spring and summer as a quitter. It's great to be active without worrying about having cigs with you !

I want to thank you, Astrofan.

The most important reason I quit smoking was (and this may sound shallow) to not ever have to stand out in the cold and snow to smoke.

Now, here recently, I have been a bit frightened of Spring coming because I may be tempted to go back to smoking.

And then, here you are..saying something like this:
"And thank goodness , spring is coming soon ! What a pleasure it is to breath that crisp spring air without constant hacking."

I'm straightened back out now, thanks to you.

We've got a great climate here in southern Oregon, but we have winter days of snow, slush, and windy cold.  I watch people go out into the slushy, drizzly, breezy cold all bundled up to stand under a tree that barely gives any protection so they can suck smoke into their bodies and relieve their withdrawals for a while.  Then, later on, they do it all over again.

Meanwhile, I stand warm and dry at the window and watch, grateful for my success in overcoming this addiction.

Right now is such a great time to be a quitter , in most places it's cold and spring will be here soon.Living in Texas all of my life , I really don't remember a colder winter. But when we quit smoking staying indoors is much esier than having to run outside for a smoke.
And thank goodness , spring is coming soon ! What a pleasure it is to breath that crisp spring air without constant hacking.
If you just quit you have this to look forward to , if you're an old time quitter enjoy it again.
