Absolutely! I get that feeling even when I don't feel particularly anxious. It's like you're there, but nothing feels real. Sometimes I get it so bad that my eyes get blurry. I've read from the Panic Program on this website that this is very normal for people who suffer panic / anxiety. You're not alone in that department!

Hi all! Last year about this time I started getting this weird feeling in my head, Not true dizziness but more of a weird floaty off balance feeling that comes and goes. I also have stiffness in neck and shoulders alot and seem hypersensitive to my surroundings. It does it alot when I am driving. Movement seems to bring it on. I do get stressed and bored driving as I drive 500 miles a week for work BUT i am not afraid of driving. I also get it when I am having even low anxiety. Certain people bring i on....like my mother.....she gets on my nerves. I also have TMJ pretty bad but thats another post. It causes my ear to pop alot and be congested BUT my doctor did blood work and put me on Prozac last summer, which has helped but not completely. Anyone else experience this off balance thing? Thanks so much for any input. CJ
