Exhausted

I know that people with anxiety and depression have a hard time concentrating. Are you on any meds? This may help. You don't want this interfering with school. I am tired from being so anxious lately. I had a busy weekend and then got crampy yesterday. I called my doc and she had me come in for an ultrasound. Everything is okay! They found a heartbeat!!!! So, I am feeling alot better but worn down from being busy. Plus, I was sooo hot I couldn't sleep last night. I guess its just that getting used to the hotter weather. Do you take classes this summer? Good luck with finals. Oh, what college do you two got to?

The last few days have been crazy in sense that my anxiety has been very high -- probably because of my stress and nervousness levels....I am currently writing exams but feel so unmotivated...really tired and don;t feel like studying at all...why is it do hard to concentrate?

Yes, my husband is in grad school too. It must be hard with you both being in school. I am not in school but I sometimes feel that my husband thinks his stuff is more important. He is a computer programmer and going to school for an MBA.... I work three days a week as a babysitter. I know his life gets overwhelming but I feel a lot of pressure doing all the house work. Its alot!!! I also do all the little jobs likes birthday presents, keeping in touch with my, and his, relatives, making plans when people call.... all that stuff. But I am a control freak so I suppose I wouldn't have it any other way. :) But sometimes I just want to scream HELP!!!! Especially since I have been pregnant, I have been exhausted. Well, good luck with your alone time. I am telling you, it will work.

Thank you Lauren....I had yet another talk with him about 'being in this together' and I hope he understands...I definitely need more "me" time...and the walks and plucking my eyebrows sounds great:-) Thnak you so much.....I just wish he could understand that my studying is just as important as his (We are both graduate students) as I always feel that my school is always set aside, whereas his is important...I guess I just needed to 'vent' and I find the support here on this website:-) Thank you and Good luck:-) You take care...

First of all, I think that you should defintely set some time aside for you time. Take a walk, do some yoga, pluck your eyebrows. It will help you feel better since you are doing something for yourself. I know how hard it is to run a house hold all by yourself. My husband works fulltime and is a full time student so I am really doing everything around here. I even cut the grass sometimes! I am currently pregnant and I feel very yucky sometimes. I really think it helps to set some time aside for yourself to exercise or take a bath. It will make you feel important, which you are. And with the food thing, look for easy recipes that are healthy online. Or if you are busy all week, maybe on the weekend, make a big pot of sou of healthy chiki, freeze it and eat it throughout the week. There are a lot of meals you can prepare ahead of time. And if you are really that stressed and busy, it might not be the time to lose weight. SOmethings are more important, like school. My husband and I have given up time togther and money for him to go to school, but it will be worth it in the end, as it will be for you. Take care.

Do you ever feel like just giving up sometimes? The days I feel like I am doing well do not end as well...my husband makes a few statements and my confidence just goes down...since the last year and a half -- my eating habits have become strange...and have also gained some weight, and it makes me feel very low about my appearance, especially when it is brought up by husband....I want to live a healthier life but at the moment with so much going on in my life ( I know I am making excuses) with my studies that I do not have the time to cook 'properly' and rely on take out or frozen foods...and my husband is not all that 'helpful' in the kitchen...I am just so exhausted....no matter how much I do it is never enough...I just feel like giving up...
