Lauren, I am glad you are feeling better. Was the water in the tub a tad too hot? I know when I take really hot baths I get flushed, also it might have been the smell of the popcorn that caused the queasiness, I know when you are pregnant certain smells could cause a little nausea, with me it was when people wore heavy perfume. Laying down with a cool rag was great, you cooled off your body and relaxed! I have said many prayers for you and the baby. Pretty soon the nausea will ease and you will want to eat eat eat! With me it was "steak-um" Sandwiches at midnight with mayo and kechup on a hamburger bun!! Does that not sound gross, but when I was pregnant I loved them. Get some rest. God bless, Debbie.
More than likely, you were in a warm bath..and you had a nice pregnancy hormone rage that made you feel yuck for a bit until it passed. Welcome to pregnancy!
Tonight, I was in the tub and my husband was in the bathroom talking to me and shoving buttery popcorn down his throat like he hasn't eaten a meal in days. All the sudden, I felt like I was gonna get sick. He left the room and I got out of the tub and layed in my bed with a cool washcloth. I felt sooo nbad, I still can't believe I didn't get sick. I sat there and took big breaths and told myslef I was gonna be okay and it would pass.I was getting worried about being sick tommorow when I have the kids. I was shaking and feeling soo sick but I just kept breathing. Finally, I felt good enough to get on the computer and look at some baby websites to take my mind off the sickness. I ate a few crackers and ginger ale. Now I feel fine!! I was so happy that I got through that and didn't freak out. I am still not sure if it was a wave of nausea sue to pregnancy or a panic attack. No pounding heart so probably just the pregnancy. I am just glad I was able to get thru it!
By the way, my appt. went well and I go back for the ultrasound May 16th.
