Yesterday the girls and I went fishing in this really wooded area by my house. I had my 13, 9 and 3 year old girls with me. Well, of course someone had to mention "noise" and then "what if there was a body" and then it just kept getting worse till I finally did what my natural instinct was to do. I screamed and took of running. (See, in that case, you find out you really do look out for yourself!! LOL) So we are all running as fast as we can out of there and finally my parenting instinct kicked in and I looked to find my three year old who I was sure was left behind. No way, she was keeping pace right next to me, holding her new Barbie fishing pole high in the air for dear life and screaming "I is Wunning!!" at the top of her lungs. She actually kept pace. Anyway, when we got out of there I was laughing so hard I had to sit down and my heart is pounding out of my chest and somewhere in my mental I am thinking "Whoaaa, check your pulse!!" but the power of laughter felt so good because I have not laughed that hard in so long. I found out, if my heart can withstand sudden fear, running for my life, screaming and then collapsing on the ground, I am probably going to be okay for an occasional panic attack!!!
