Great to hear you got through the weekend and had a fantastic reward as well. Stick to your guns, lady. It is possible to live with a smoking partner. It seems like it'll never pass now but after a while you won't think twice about it other than to think 'what a pity he couldn't hack it'. Maybe one day he'll get back on the horse - until then you keep on riding.
