My doctor said not to take zoloft because it is category C. I was on zoloft before. He said if I have to, wait til the 2nd trimester for zoloft. Then, when I asked about allergy meds, he told me that I could take sudafed and that is category C too. I was very mad about it. I'd rather suffer thru my allergies than the panic!!! Anyway, I think that he is blowing my panic off. And he is a little "old school." Too paranoid. He wanted me to wait 6 months to conceive after a miscarriage!!! I considered changing docs but it is very important to me to deliver at the hospital where they deliver. So, I will just wait. Plus, I can always go on zoloft "If I absolutely have to." In his words. Sorry to go on and on about my doc. I just get frustated about him not wanting me on zoloft. I have heard of plenty of people on it the whole pregnancy and breastfeeding and have PERFECT children.

Did your doctor mention putting you on anything while you are pregnant? i know with my baby they put me on Zoloft in the 3rd trimester to ward off Post Partum Depression and then I continued to take it (even while breastfeeding) for the panic and such. I am wondering becuase I had a lady yesterday come in and she is newly pregnant and they are continuing to keep her on her anxiety meds through the pregnancy.
