Out of nowhere, I started craving the day after Christmas. Wanting to smoke that went on for two days and then went away, but came back later in the week. Just after midnight on the 2nd I got a phone call telling me that my nephew's three month old baby had just died an hour earlier. I haven't craved a cigarette since. For one thing, I'm focused on coming up with the money for the funeral, whenever it might be. The parents have both flipped and have had to be sedated. The passing of my little great nephew just reminds me of how precious, and fragile, life is. I don't want to smoke.
