Crystal,
Thank you for the encourging words they mean alot to me. I am going to take your advice and go on my camping trip, and try my best to enjoy every minute of it. Again thank you for everthing.
Hi Nicole
I want so badly to be back to my old self and not worry about such stupid things.
I know how you feel. What you need to do is go on the camping trip. Take along your cd player, books whatever tools you need to help you thru the panic attacks, but go.
I know its hard but these are just feelings. It is you being afraid of you. When you start thinking "what if" change that to "SO what if". That will be your first step towards getting back to being you (only better).
What we fear most never happens cause its us being afraid of our own thoughts. Try to relax towards the anxiety and panic and let it come, let it do its absolute worse, try to make it worse and you will find that you can't do that.
I know it sounds strange but until you accept that these symptoms, feelings and fears are just thoughts, you will feel anxious and afraid.
Acceptance, paitence and try to relax and understand that it is stress that brings this all about.
I am sending you good vibes and prayers that you have a wonderful weekend. Go do it for you, and do it for all of us too!
I am going camping today something I always loved to do. But ever since the panic attacks started it takes everything in me to get in the car and drive for 2 hours and it doesn't help that I have to cross a bridge that is 24 miles long. I never before worried about it but now I think what if something happens like I catch a heart attack in the middle of this bridge I will never make it to the hospital in time. I want so badly to be back to my old self and not worry about such stupid things. I almost want to back out and just stay at home where I know I am safe and only a few minutes away from medical help. I just needed some encouraging words.
