It is so weird to celebrate New Year on one of these boards, because New Year varied so for many of us. Some people celebrated nearly 24 hours before others. I know Hawaii has now celebrated and most of the Pacific Islands, so Happy NewYear!

It is great to read such a wonderful, positive post! Congratulations on "almost" 2 months smoke-free! You have done a great job, keep it up! What motivated you to stick with the quit?
I'm almost at 2 months quit and it has gotten so much easier. I rarely think about smoking anymore. The cravings, withdrawals have pretty much stopped. I've truly quit and will never smoke again. I want to thank everyone on this site for your support. I feel this site has played a big part in me being able to finally quit. I've had a hard time quitting, but I've FINALLY found some peace! lol I feel great and i can smell so much better. I started walking today and that was easier also. Hang in there everyone, if i can quit anyone can!! It truely does get easier and easier with time. I enjoy looking at how much money i've saved by not smoking. I'm going to take a nice smoke free vacation with that money in the summer!!
