Congrats on losing 7 lbs.  That's about what I've gained so far!! I believe it is leveling off now tho.  I'm no longer snacking on everything in site! lol...........

I have gained around 30 pounds, and I was big to begin with. But now, coming upon 300 days, I am starting to lose weight. I think I have finally stopped replacing smokes with chocolate. I think Hershy's stock has risen quite a bit by the way..LOL..anyway, last time at the docs I was down 7 pounds...yippeee.

I have a simliar problem, I am drinking tons of coffee each day.  I went from 2-3 cups a day to 5-6 cups a day.  Whether its coke or coffee its still caffeine.

I put on about 20 pounds.  Three years later, I've lost 15 but I've since eliminated most dairy from my diet (found it's been a major cause of a lifetime of sinus and digestive problems and I was virtually addicted to cheese my whole life!) and cut back on alcohol in my shandies (no alcohol beer and diet lemonade now - drink them every day bc I like the taste rather than wanting the alcohol...easy change oddly enough).  Try Coke Zero if you don't like Diet.  Diet Coke to me tastes like chemicals but zero is pretty good.
 
But mostly I suggest you try not to worry about weight gain.  I'd rather be a fat non smoker than a skinny corpse in the making.  And when you look in the mirror, don't just look at the new padding in your face or thicker thighs!  Check out your healthier skin, brighter eyes, shinier hair.  There are positive changes there!  Weight will come on but it'll come off eventually - your body will tell you what you need to do.  Just keep listening.

Snack on veggies

It's getting to the point, that I don't want to get on scales anymore!  Afraid to see if i've gained anymore. lol  I'm really not eating anymore that I did before, but i'm drinking to many cokes.  I'm going to wait until after the holidays before I try to get this extra weight off.  One battle at a time! lol
