MM - I like your idea and also Ashley's Reunion day idea as well. If you haven;t read elsewhere, I will be producing a version of the stats again, but just including active members and probably once a week which will show forthcoming celebrations. And no, i'm not going away!!
What might interest you is there was once a thread here about where we all lived and it turned out that several member lived only a few miles for each other. For instance, PENITENT and I live about 5 miles away (and we have met!).
Might be a good time to resurrect a 'WHERE DO YOU LIVE?' thread.

Interesting idea MissMarple.

There could always be a on the boards reunion where veterans and newbies could all plan on being on the boards at a set time.  It would be a great time to discuss new ways to get members involved!  We should pick a date!

What do you think?

I've often thought how nice it would be to actually meet the people I talk to on a regular basis.  What a great idea, MM.  You've got my FULL attention!!!!!  Shall we see what we can arrange?

I just read, over the last 30 minutes or so, several posts that perked my interest.  I must say that I feel terribly guilty about my lack of attendance and enthusiasium at SSC as of late.  I do remember us having loads of fun in the past and I would like to see a return of that.  How 'bout we look far of into the future and plan a reunion of sorts where we could all meet each other?  Needs to be enough time off so people could save for the trip.  Any suggestions?
And BTW, I have truly, truly, enjoyed the stats posts and we all owe Mr. Ed a big round of applause for all he has done.   I cannot imagine SSC without him and a few key others.  We love you guys!!!!!
