Hi jessica, just a thought from a brit! i always try to remember that if my body is doing odd things, then its usually a messsage from your body to tell us to stop doing somthing it doesnt like! i heard once of a person who only had panic attacks while smoking! it went away, funnily enough when they stopped smoking! so try take the redness etc as a sign that your putting something into/onto your body it just doesnt like! it could be as simple as that! good luck!

Hi You may actually see the redness. when I was 20 I began to get tiny red bumps that started out itching and then the hair would fall out. I went to a dermatologist and I had and still have Alopecia. He said it was caused from stress. So to this day anytime I get really stressed I get bald spots usually the size of a dime to a quarter. The good thing it always comes back.I hope I'm not adding to your stress.

hi all! when i read these messages its like im reading about myself. the other night at dinner my husband says whats that red bump by your mouth(WRONG THING TO SAY TO A HYPO), i jumped up in panic and ran to the mirror to look. i freaked, even though it was just a mild irritation. i was convinced it was something deadly. then he reminded me i had gotten waxed the day before. i couldnt stop looking at it and wasnt convinced, until it went away. its just amazing how the mind can take over.

Sorry Jessica, I did not have my glasses on I thought both posts were from Grace, I apologize, try a warm washcloth or neo-sporin if you have it. I imagine everything too, tonight I am in a panic because my little son is not feeling well. Grace is right that sploch is probably what she listed, I am sure it will be gone in a day or two. Debbie.

Oh Grace I bet I have you beat in the hypocrondriac dept. My son has heartburn tonight real bad and I had it last night, Pizza and orange juice I know with me and spicy Chicken for him! At least that is one thing I am not worrying about. I doubt that pink sploch is anything bad, probably from the curling iron or shampoo, I have had a big fleshy wart on my scalp since I was 16! My sickness of the month is ovarian cancer, my lower stomach just cramps and burns, like an ulcer but in your LOWER not upper stomach. I have my appt tomm, I dread to go, if I hear "take more Zoloft" I might scream and go mad! If you have any neo-sporin put that on the spot, that clears everything up. I am watching my son I am afraid he will vomit in his sleep, see I worry about everyone else too besides myself. Hope to hear from you soon. Debbie.

Calming words...hmmmmmmm....... I am thinking.... Okay, worst case: Velcro roller scratched your head. Heat roller burned a spot. Shampoo allergy Rubbing your head because we do it without noticing. Bad perm. Sorry, just trying to make ya smile. My gut is on fire tonight and instead of heart burn, I am convinced it is is some major ranting infection

hey guys. first off i want to thank all of u for the support you have shown. u dont know how much i apprectiate it. well since i know that im such a hypochondriac i yet have another symptom. for some reason i noticed yesterday my scalp was pink and it has like a light red blotch on it. i know i know it sounds kind of awkward, but i notice EVERYTHING. i think i have really mastered the technique of imagining things. i am so nervous that i ahve something so terrible. i told my husband about it and i told him to look at my scalp and he says theres nothing there. but i see it. oh my goodness i feel like im gonna explode. so can someone please tell me some calming words. thanks so much
