Thank you Kaiser and Sparky, your ideas helped and just you being here was a boost too. The strong craving has passed for now and I did make it out to get my lunch without stopping to buy a pack...... so thanks for the hand holding

Lisa, Lisa, it will get better.  You have two days down and you never ever have to repeat them again as long as you don't smoke.  You are going though hell right now, but it does get better.  You know how this is done, let's get it done.  Take a walk, drink water, scream (under your breath), get something really good to eat.  We are all here for you.  You can do this, you have before so you know it does get better.  Give yourself a high five or hug.  You doing it!!

Keep the Quit

It will get better.  I can relate to what you are going through.  Try to distract yourself in any way you can.  I used to imagine a project and plan it out in my head.  Make sure that you plan every minute detail. Usually the urge quits before I get through the plan.  I hope this helps.

It's almost lunch time here and all I keep thinking about is going out and buying a pack........... I know that the day will come that I'm not thinking of them every few minutes but it sure aint today..... I can hardly concentrate on my work, if I were home I would just go crawl in bed and cover up for the rest of the day lol ...............to be honest which is what I have promised to be here, I've got that stupid stinking thinking going on, telling myself to just have one and it will take the edge off for now. I really did forget how HORRIBLE Hell Week is
