It is definitely panic Gina...Don't worry. I had my first "driving panic attack" in January and I experienced the same symptoms as you did. You feel like it's not safe for you to drive because you're going to pass out while driving and crash your car. If you get so disoriented that you feel like you can't drive, just allow yourself to pull over. It takes the pressure off you. Mine was the worst panic attack I've ever had and i ended up having to get someone to come pick me up b/c I had to take an adavan. But I'm glad I did that. Just allow yourself to give yourself whatever you need. It's your life and you have control over what you do and do not do.
