Gina, I just read your post before I went to bed, you have been so sweet and caring to me I wanted to tell you what I do when I or my son has a ear infectione?earache, it sounds strange but it clears it up overnight my son was on Amoxicillian {antibotic} but what REALLY worked is hydrogen peroxide, take a capful, lay down and pour it in your ear, it will fizz and feel warmish but it won't hurt, just "tickle" wait till you hear the fizzing stop, then turn over and drain it, my old boss taught me this when I had a horrible earache and it cleared up in 24 hours! I do it to my small son, so I know its safe, I have told other Mom's in the neighorhood and they love it. Still take your medicine through, I have taken that its a good fast antibotic take it with some milk, please let me know how you are, my son gets these alot and the peroxide clears it right up. I have even gargled with it for a really bad sore throat, it will NOT hurt you when you put it in the ears, if you want try it but please take the medication too! Hugs and prayers, Deb.
