Well, well this has been an interesting day. It started off like any other non-smoking day. Went for my workout, came home ate, did some house work. Everything was okay. I laid down to watch my soaps and got up and the mail had come. More cigarette coupons They are shredded and in the trash. Then hubby and I went for walk. They say we can be sensitive when we quit. I wonder are we sensitive or do we hide our feeling & hide behind a smoke. He and I were some what testy today and not only that there were several cigarettes laying on the ground. WHY ME??? Seeing those really sent the crave mood into high gear. Now why am I writing this (about my moods)? Because in the past I would never mention any of this, because the feelings have passed. The one thing I am sure of is if I stuff it I will not succeed. Now I am calm and hoping everyone had a good day.

I'm glaad you are doing fine. I also have an association with my last failed quit. I went to have dinner at this wonderful chinese restaurante and I was feeling stuffed; I hate to feel that way, and bam! the crave came in full force! I went running to buy a pack, and I stayed in the addiction for six more years.
Now I hate that restaurante! It's one of the finest in my hometown, but I can't go there. It has a strong failure association. And I told myself that I hate chinese food because of the sodium!
Our brain is a crazy one!
Keep kicking ash Sparky!

The day is going good. I haven't had any real strong craves. But did face a trigger that could be the undoing of past quits. I was watching the neighbor's little girl and when the mother came home she said she a cigarette after a stressful test. She knows my history, but she is one, so far that can have one and walk away for awhile. I told her I had quit four days ago. But got to tell you her reasoning sounded good. But I know I can't have just one, so onward and forward.
So that is what is happening in my world today. Hope all is good in yours. (((HUGS)))

I didn't buy any girl scout cookies this year, but I heard they offered a low fat/suger free cookie this year, but I have NO IDEA how they taste. This is just a suggestion, but I know from past experience with other cookie brands from the health club store, sometimes the box they came in was tastier than the diet cookie itself! LOL! Now I have a craving for a thin mint!
