I can't believe I missed this. Impalamania.....I am fanatical about the Chevy Impala. My first car was a 1964 that I bought for $300 and financed for 6-months.
Lots of great things come along with the independence of a first car......this is where I was FREE to do what I wanted (including learning the fine art of smoking while driving). Nights at the drive-in, jammin to 8-track tapes. Living the life fantastic.
I got the itch 10 years ago and found a 1962 model to occupy my time away from teenage girls. This lady didn't talk back but can cop an attitude from time to time. Now that we are empty-nesters, this baby is getting the attention she's been waiting for now that college tuitions and smoking are all paid for.
