Hi Aminee, I just returned here from 4 years ago when I tried to quit. I have quit again. Sorry to hear about your Uncle but I have to tell you what happened in my life. And this is a true story. I went to Mexico for the first time in my life, loved it, when I came back I was out of a job. Had an offer of another but returned two days to late. Everything went downhill from there, the recession bit me in the butt. Feb 3, my sister died of cancer, we weren't expecting it that soon without notice, Feb 7, my best friend of 32 years died of cancer, definitely no notice on this one. It was all so shocking. Strangely Jan 29 I had reluctantly put on my first Step 1 patch, and throughout one of the worst weeks of my life I did not have a cigarette. I am still off, 5 weeks now and the cravings are getting to me but my point in all this is that when you are ready, YOU ARE READY! It will happen. Don't fret over not being able to quit right now because the quitting seed has been planted and is just waiting for the right time.

Aminee, so sorry to hear of your loss.  May your cherished memories of your uncle comfort you during this difficult time.  Lainey gave you some wonderful advice.  Take a couple days to go through your program again so you are prepared for stressful situations like this.  Don't rush back if you aren't prepared.  We want you to succeed!

Hi aminee........So sorry to hear about your Uncle.  My Father-in-Law just passed and we just spent the day at the funeral home getting things ready.  I'm too far in to my quit to smoke now........I don't want to go through it again.......But I won't lie and say I didn't crave one.

I'm gonna say that if it really is your time to quit........things like this will not take you back to the smokes.  Might not be easy.........but you should be able to keep the quit.  I was able today.......you can too.

When you are ready......we're here for you

huggggg
Bob
