Peteg,

Plan it out, some quitters do experience a few days of adjustment with mild withdrawals and increased cravings, but with a few coping strategies and distractions you'll make it through!

Members, what have you done to prepare for your quit after NRTs?

SO glad to see this thread -- after tons of failed quits I'm finally getting it right and am going to the 7 mg patch tomorrow and feeling a little jittery about it.  Thanks so much for affirming that there is indeed life after the patch.

Still --- the patch has become part of my morning routine!  When I no longer have to put on a patch, what do I use for replacement therapy?  A pretend patch, maybe?  Or I could just smear adhesive all over me as a remembrance?  Ewww, I won't miss THAT!

Hi Caligirl - you can choose the first option indicating that you are tried to quit cold turkey (without medications). This should work out fine. It's great to see you working through the program - keep up the great work!

Hi Bobinsc - Is there some reason you cannot open your cravings diary? If you are experiencing any technical difficulties please do let us know via the feedback section.

Hiya cali.......looking GOOD!!.........You are the quitter of moment!!.......Great work.

I can't get the cravings diary to open so I don't know what you are trying to do.  But.....If there is no option for no NRT....maybe you can use the option "with" NRT and make a note of when you changed.  As long as you know the date you changed over.......it should show you what you need to see.
Hopefully someone can get theirs open and help you more....

huggggggggg
Bob
